Babe EaseÒ Announces Breast Cancer Research Initiative:  Donates Proceeds from Sale of Pink Gingham Clean ShoppersÒ to ESSCO-MGH Breast Cancer Research Fund

Pelham, NH –Babe EaseÒ, LLC, the New Hampshire-based creator and distributor of the Original Clean ShopperÒ shopping cart cover and other award-winning baby accessories announced today it is donating $1.00  from every wholesale and retail sale of the company’s signature pink gingham Clean ShopperÒ shopping cart covers.  The money will go directly to the ESSCO-MGH Breast Cancer Research Fund, which supports cutting-edge breast cancer research.

“We have always been dedicated to the well-being of families and this is a wonderful way to show our commitment,” said Missy Cohen-Fyffe president of Babe EaseÒ.  “My personal connection to breast cancer and this fund, make our commitment all the more meaningful.”

According to Cohen-Fyffe, her father started the ESSCO-MGH Breast Cancer Research Fund with $25,000.00  in January of 1994, shortly after her sister had been diagnosed and treated for the disease. Today, the fund  has grown to over $3.2 million and has funded hundreds of thousands of dollars of research.

“The ESSCO-MGH Breast Cancer Research Fund is a rarity in the charitable industry,” said Cohen-Fyffe, “with 100 percent of every penny raised going directly to research. Not one penny comes off the top for administrative purposes, because everyone associated with it works on a volunteer basis.  So, $1.00 donated to the ESSCO-MGH Breast Cancer Research Fund is a dollar more toward a cure.”
